A higher standard, experienced daily
Built on six quiet obsessions
Every detail of the Signature Smile Sonic was tuned for one thing — a deeper clean you can feel from the very first morning.
Sonic, not rotary
High-frequency waves agitate water and toothpaste between your teeth and below the gumline — places bristles can't reach.
A month between charges
Two two-minute sessions a day, every day, for a full month. Travel without the cable.
Soft DuPont bristles
Dental-grade filaments that flex around enamel. Recommended for sensitive gums.
Brush in the shower
Submersible to one metre. Rinse, soak, drop, the handle is sealed against everything.
Six modes, one instrument
White, Clean, Nurse, Care, Pulse, Polish — tuned for whitening, daily care, sensitivity, and finishing.
The dentist's two minutes
Pulses every 30 seconds to remind you to switch quadrants, then stops automatically. No guesswork.

How is the Signature Smile Sonic different from a regular electric toothbrush?
Most electric toothbrushes use rotating bristles at 8,000–12,000 rotations per minute. The Signature Smile Sonic uses sonic technology — high-frequency vibrations at 40,000 movements per minute — which agitates the toothpaste and water in your mouth to clean between teeth and below the gumline, where bristles can't reach.
The result: noticeably whiter teeth, healthier gums, and a deeper clean than manual or rotary brushes can deliver.
What's the difference between the six cleaning modes?
Each mode is tuned for a specific outcome:
- White — extra power for stain removal on enamel
- Clean — daily plaque removal, our most-used setting
- Nurse — gentle pulses for sensitive teeth and gums
- Care — gum massage to improve circulation
- Pulse — focused stain-breaking on specific areas
- Polish — finishing setting for a smooth, silky finish
The brush remembers your last-used mode, so you don't need to reselect every morning.
Are the bristles soft enough for sensitive teeth and gums?
Yes. The brush ships with soft DuPont bristles — the same bristle material recommended by most dental professionals for sensitive mouths. The Nurse mode pairs perfectly with the soft bristles for an even gentler clean.
If you've had recent dental work, gum recession, or known sensitivity, we recommend starting on Nurse mode for the first week.
How do I clean and care for it?
Rinse the head and handle under running water after each use. The IPX7 waterproof rating means it's safe to fully submerge, so you can run it under the tap or take it into the shower. Wipe it dry with a towel before placing it back on the charging stand. No special cleaning products needed.
Can my children use it?
The Signature Smile Sonic is designed for adults and teens (12+). The motor is powerful enough that we don't recommend it for younger children — their gums are still developing and need a softer, manual brush. For pre-teens and up, the soft DuPont bristles and Nurse mode are a great place to start.
How long does the battery last?
A full charge gives you up to 30 days of brushing (based on two two-minute sessions per day). Most customers charge it once a month — perfect if you travel often or hate cables on your bathroom counter.
The charging stand uses USB, so you can plug it into any laptop, wall adapter, or power bank.
Is the toothbrush waterproof?
Yes — the Signature Smile Sonic is rated IPX7 waterproof, which means it's safe for full submersion in water up to one metre for 30 minutes. You can rinse it under the tap, brush in the shower, or accidentally drop it in the sink without worry.
The charging stand should not be submerged. Wipe it dry if water lands on it.
How often should I replace the brush head?
Like any toothbrush, the head should be replaced every 3 months — sooner if the bristles look frayed or splayed. The brush has a built-in 2-minute smart timer that pulses every 30 seconds to remind you to switch quadrants, but you'll need to remember to swap the head yourself.
Each kit ships with 10 brush heads, which is roughly 2.5 years of supply for one user.
Can multiple people share one toothbrush?
The handle yes, the head no. For hygiene reasons, every person needs their own brush head — but the motorised handle is shared-friendly. Each family member can colour-code or label their head and just click it on before brushing.
If you want each person to have their own complete unit, our Duo and Family bundles save up to 15% versus buying singles.
Do you ship across South Africa? How long does it take?
We offer nationwide delivery via trusted courier partners.
Orders typically arrive within 6–9 working days. Once your order has shipped, you’ll receive a tracking number via SMS and email.
Enjoy free delivery on all orders over R850.
What's covered by the warranty?
If your order arrives damaged or defective, we’ll replace it, no questions asked.
Brush heads aren't warranty-covered (they're consumables) but if a head arrives damaged, we'll replace it on the spot.
Can I travel with it? Is it allowed on planes?
Absolutely. The kit ships with a compact travel case sized for cabin luggage. The toothbrush itself is fully allowed in carry-on and checked baggage on every commercial airline — it has a sealed lithium battery within IATA limits.
And because the battery lasts 30 days, you can leave the charger at home for most trips.
Is it loud? Will it wake my partner up?
Sonic toothbrushes are noticeably quieter than rotary brushes. The Signature Smile Sonic runs at around 55 decibels — softer than a normal conversation. You'll hear a gentle hum, not a roar.
Most customers say it's the quietest electric brush they've owned. If your partner sleeps lightly, the bathroom door is more than enough soundproofing.
